All rooms are with shared bathrooms.

It’s just down the corridor, along with the toilet.
They are cleaned a couple of time per day.

There is at least one bathroom on each floor, shared from 3 to 4 rooms.
So everyone can have their own, with lots of hot water!

Most of the bathrooms have been fully renovated in 2016 and 2017
To improve your comfort, we continue the renovation and all of them will be brand new this year.

The icelandic water is considered by many people as one of the best and purest water in the world!

But you might ask why tap water may have a sulfur smell (let’s say, it’s like rotten eggs smell).
It’s one of the surprise of the Nature in Iceland:
the hot geothermal water comes straight from the ground. No need for water heaters 🙂
The hot water is not made for drinking, only for showering, bathing, etc…

The cold water does not come from the same source, it’s spring water.
Make sure to make the cold water run a bit from the tap:
the cold and hot water won’t mix and the smell goes away…
